The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology and a push/pull trolley, ensuring high quality, low headroom, and full-featured performance suitable for both routine and severe working environments. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
