The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered using advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, ensuring high quality and low headroom functionality for reliable performance in both routine and severe work conditions. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time, a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor. Additional attributes include low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, manufactured in an environmentally friendly manner to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
