The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, as well as a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. Additionally, the hoists feature a count hour meter that records and displays lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, and a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake operation. The design incorporates low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
