The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature a push/pull trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing excellent load control and field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability, and integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that results in a cooler motor and brake, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly, meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
