The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington is engineered using advanced technology and features a push/pull trolley, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that engages only when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, these hoists feature a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake thanks to a fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and they exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
