The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, offering exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability while providing integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
