The Nerp Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive that offers exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which consists of a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists are designed with a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for a cooler operating temperature, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. Additionally, these hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built in compliance with environmentally friendly RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has undergone factory load testing at 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
