The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington come equipped with a push/pull trolley and an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology that utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake which only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that offers speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional features consist of a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor design, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
