The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley and an under-the-cover variable frequency drive that provides excellent load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which is a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a Grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability with integral hour counting functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend the chain's lifespan, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to a cooler motor and brake environment, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements for environmentally-friendly manufacturing, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
