The Nerp Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington include a push/pull trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive, delivering exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features comprise "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is powered, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability alongside integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor, and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
