The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability. Additionally, the hoist includes integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, and a fan-cooled motor that contributes to a cooler motor and brake design. The hoists are equipped with low-profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. All hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, are environmentally friendly and meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
