The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing excellent load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized. The hoist is equipped with a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a variable frequency drive allowing for speed adjustability, and an integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, it has a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
