The Nerp Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive, enabling exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows speed adjustability along with integral hour count functionality for tracking lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and enhance chain longevity, while the cooler motor and brake performance are facilitated by a fan-cooled motor. Additional features consist of low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and surpass the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate that confirms factory load testing at 125% of the rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
