The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive, delivering exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology that utilizes a current driven electromagnetic brake which does not release unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to a fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
