The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, offering exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. The hoists are constructed with grade 80 nickel-plated load chain and a variable frequency drive that allows speed adjustability along with integral hour counting functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. They also include a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that keeps the motor and brake cooler, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, are built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
