The Nerp Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, which provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that offers speed adjustability along with integral hour count functionality for tracking the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. The design also incorporates a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that ensures cooler operation for both the motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each unit comes with a test certificate confirming that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
