The Nerp Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability while incorporating integral hour count functionality to record and display lowering starts and hoist operational time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, all hoists are supplied with a test certificate confirming they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, as per ASME B30.16 standards.
