The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, offering exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and integral hour counting functionality, which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. Additional specifications include a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan cooled motor for cooler operation of the motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly and compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has undergone factory load testing at 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
