The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which is a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists also feature a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to a fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, all hoists come with a test certificate verifying they have been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
