The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which is a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, as well as a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and includes an integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists are equipped with a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in accordance with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
