The Nerp Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with an integral hour counter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
