The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature a push/pull trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. The hoists come with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability, and integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, they feature a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to a cooler motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate, confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
