The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design also incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, meet environmentally friendly RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate that verifies it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
