The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, offering exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a fan-cooled motor for a cooler operation of the motor and brake, as well as low profile upper and lower limit switches. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists are accompanied by a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
