The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides excellent load control and allows for field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology utilizing a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, as well as a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive enables speed adjustability and includes an integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional features consist of a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to a cooler operation for both the motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate that verifies factory load testing to 125% of rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16, ensuring compliance and reliability.
