The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, which utilizes a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is powered; a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain; and a variable frequency drive that enables speed adjustability along with integral hour count functionality for recording and displaying the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and enhance chain longevity, as well as a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake operation. Additional features include low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. Hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, manufactured to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, as per ASME B30.16 standards.
