The Nerp Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian": smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive allowing speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design also includes a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake thanks to the fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
