The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology involving a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive offering speed adjustability with integrated hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists include a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor contributing to cooler motor and brake operation, along with low-profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, meet RoHS requirements for environmental friendliness, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is equipped with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in compliance with ASME B30.16.
