The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that offers exceptional load control with field adjustable two speeds, achieving up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for adjustable speeds and includes integral count hour functionality to track lowering starts and hoist operating time. A five-pocket load sheave minimizes vibration and extends chain life, while a fan-cooled motor contributes to cooler motor and brake operation. The hoists also come with low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
