The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control with field adjustable two speeds, achieving up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, which incorporates a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The hoists are equipped with a variable frequency drive enabling speed adjustability and an integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, as well as low profile upper and lower limit switches. Additionally, they come with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet environmentally friendly RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
