The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with the latest technology, offering high quality and low headroom in a full-featured package that ensures reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional specifications include a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, a fan-cooled motor that leads to a cooler operation of the motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340 standards, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
