The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral hour counting functionality, which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to a cooler motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
