The NERP Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian," which is smart brake technology utilizing a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, along with a Grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and includes integral hour counting functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. The hoist is designed with a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and enhance chain life, while a fan-cooled motor contributes to cooler motor and brake operations. Low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords, are also part of the design. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly and compliant with RoHS requirements, and they exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is sold with a test certificate confirming factory load testing at 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
