The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and includes integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor. Additionally, low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords, enhance usability. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly due to RoHS compliance, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
