The NERP dual speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporate a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and integral hour counting functionality, which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists are designed with a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan cooled motor for a cooler operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
