The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing excellent load control and field adjustable two speeds with a maximum speed ratio of 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. The variable frequency drive enables speed adjustability and includes an integral hour counter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists are equipped with a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for cooler operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
