The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that engages only when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and integral hour counting functionality which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. The hoists also include a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
