The NERP Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with a push/pull trolley and an under the cover variable frequency drive, offering exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists feature a five pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate indicating that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
