The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a variable frequency drive allowing speed adjustability, and integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
