The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control with field adjustable speeds and a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology utilizing a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability while also offering integral hour count functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, as well as low-profile upper and lower limit switches. Additionally, the hoists come with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is delivered with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
