The NERP dual speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and includes integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists are designed with a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for a cooler operating temperature, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
