The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporate an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing excellent load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which consists of a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is powered, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a variable frequency drive enabling speed adjustability, and integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with ROHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
