The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive, allowing for exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized. Other attributes consist of a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability and integral hour count functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time, and a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life. The hoist's cooler motor and brake benefit from a fan-cooled motor, complemented by low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, meet RoHS environmental standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
