The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive, enabling impressive load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and includes integral hour counting functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, along with a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor. The hoists also feature low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. Compliance and certifications include UL listing to UL 1340, RoHS requirements, and exceeding the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
