The NER Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporate an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, which utilizes a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized. The hoists feature a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability, and an integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, they are equipped with a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
