The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. Additionally, these hoists feature a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on-time, a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor. The hoists come equipped with low-profile upper and lower limit switches as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, are built to be environmentally friendly in adherence to RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
