The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which comprises a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive enabling speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5-pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and extends chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. The hoists come equipped with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly and meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
