The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, resulting in high quality and low headroom designs that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The kit includes features such as "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time. Additional attributes comprise a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for improved thermal performance, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340 standards, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
