The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides excellent load control and offers field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which consists of a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized. The hoists come equipped with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability, along with integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional features include a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake thanks to the fan-cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. The hoists are supplied with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
