The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and challenging environments. Each hoist features "The Guardian," a smart brake technology comprising a current-driven electromagnetic brake that engages only when the motor is energized. The hoists are equipped with grade 80 nickel plated load chains, a count hour meter for tracking lowering starts and hoist usage time, and a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life. Additionally, the fan-cooled motor contributes to cooler operation of both the motor and brake. The hoists include low-profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340 and built in compliance with RoHS requirements, exceeding the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
